Paul Temple & The Gilbert Case 1959
I’ve been trying to locate this remake for years until recently. I find adding something like ‘rare’ to a torrent’s title strange but was very tempted in this case! Just to distinguish it.
All my information for this comes from the wikipedia text. I believe the wikipedia text is correct.
First let’s compare the 2 versions of The Gilbert Case on paper.

05 That Good Old Intuition
06 A Warning From Miss Wayne
07 The Note
08 The Guilty Party
The Gilbert Case 1959
22 November 1959 to ?
Peter Coke as Paul Temple
Marjorie Westbury as Steve
Richard Williams as Sir Graham Forbes
8 x 30 minutes
01 The Unlucky One
02 The Third Shoe
03 Peter Galino
04 La Mortella

For the 1959 remake the differences (apart from the dates obviously) are in bold. Anybody familiar with audio files will know how many files there are out there that have the wrong information. I performed a Demonoid search for The Gilbert Case which gave me 3 results which I will go into. For the people that uploaded these I hope you don’t take it the wrong way. I’ll be the first to admit I’ve made a number of mistakes in my time. My aim is to help people and there is a chance that the Gilbert Cases in their collections are from one of these 3 torrents.
For anybody out there with a Gilbert Case from anywhere that wants to work out which one they have there is one easy method. Go to the final part and about a couple of minutes from the end to the credits. The first 2 credits will be for Paul and Steve and the third for Sir Graham Forbes. In the 1954 version it will be Lester Mudditt. For the 1959 remake it will be Richard Williams.
