Having just finished listening to the excellent narration by Patrick Tull of the Aubrey/Maturin series, I was reminded of his stellar work on the Ellis Peters’ series, some of which are in scifilovers torrent already although the narrators are unattributed and some are abridged versions. Book 1 of that collection is narrated by Patrick Tull so I have skipped to book 2, and will upload book 3 soon.

While the other series narrators do a great job in their way (Stephen Thorne and Derek Jacoby in particular) I think Patrick is the best for regional dialects – more of a Mr Pickwick rather than Mr Kiplings exceedingly fine cakes kind of speech.
